Bio
Aner Luo, a native of China, is an educator, international soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician. Ms. Luo came to the United States in 2017. She received a full scholarship from Lee University School of Music to further her undergraduate studies there under Mr. Xiaoqing Yu.
With 16 years of experience in violin, Ms. Luo works with students from the earliest levels to concertizing professionals. She has three main goals in her career: based on professional foundations, develop children’s interest in music; based on individual circumstances, formulate and guide the direction of music development for young musicians as appropriate; eventually influence more and more people to understand that music is a wonderful tool to express all kinds of emotions, good or bad, create a safe space for people to share and process ordinary thoughts to extreme thoughts.
Ms. Luo holds a bachelor degree in Violin Performance from Lee University, she is a member of SAA (Suzuki Association of the Americas), and is currently working on the Suzuki teacher training. While at Lee University, she served as the concertmaster of the Lee Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Strings, performed in numerous concert halls. Before coming to the United States, she performed with various groups throughout China, including Qingdao Symphony Orchestra.
Some other important figures of Ms. Luo’s study and career are Robert Bernhardt (American Conductor); Brittany MacWilliams (University of Louisville); Paul Huang (traveling performing artist); Yun Chen (Concertmaster of China Philharmonic Orchestra); Lin He (Louisiana State University); Hyeri Choi (Idaho State University); Hong Wang (Dean of China Central Conservatory of Music), etc. She also attended summer festivals such as Sewanee Summer Music Festival.
